One Month of Harry Potter//July 15th, How I Never Got To and Never Will Go A Harry Potter Midnight Premiere

I learnt a week ago that this year in my country there would be no midnight showings for Harry Potter. I’m incredibly sad about this because I’ve never went to a midnight showing before and I really really wanted to see the last Harry Potter movie this way, to say my goodbye to the movies properly and now I can’t and I’m just really sad. I was saving this opportunity and now it’s gone, just like that. I still got tickets for the premiere and pretended that it was night - it wasn’t hard, really -, but it just wasn’t the same.  But I guess I still have it better than fans in China, at least they will show the movie here.

The movie itself was wonderful and a great end to the franchise. I didn’t even mind that here and there it had nothing to do with the book and nonsense things happened, because everyone was so awesome and I kept weeping like a little baby. One thing is for sure: I will always be a part of the Harry Potter generation. I just couldn’t escape that I guess.
